Sticky Muesli Bars recipe

Ingredents

110 g/ 3.9 oz/ 1 cup of butter
85g/ 3 oz/ 3/4 cup of light brown sugar
75 g/ 2.6 oz/ 3/4 cup of golden syrup
275g / 9.7 oz/ 23/4 cups muesli

Method

Heat the over to 180C (155 fan), gas 4. Line a rectangular baking tin with non-stick baking paper.

Heat the butter, sugar and golden syrup in a pan on a low heat until just melted.

 Addthe muesli and mix well. Tip into the baking tin and spread evenly.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, remove if from the oven and mark into 12 bars and leave it to cool completely in the tin, as it falls apart when warm. Cut it into bars when it has cooled.
